El QDOS (siglas en inglés de "Quick and Dirty Operating System" en español "Sistema Operativo rápido y sucio", escrito y comercializado por Tim Paterson) era un sistema de 16 bits que pertenecía a la compañía estadounidense Seattle Computer Products. Estaba basado en el Control Program/Monitor (CP/M) de Gary Kildall para su kit de ordenador, que a su vez se basaba en el procesador Intel 8086.

El Sinclair QDOS (a veces escrito Qdos en la literatura oficial) es el sistema operativo multitarea presente en el ordenador personal Sinclair QL y sus clones. Fue diseñado por Tony Tebby mientras trabajaba en Sinclair Research, como una alternativa interna a otro sistema operativo, posteriormente cancelado, encargado a GST Computer Systems.

QDOS o Quick and Dirty Operating System (en español: Sistema operativo rápido y sucio) es un sistema operativo de 16 bits escrito por Tim Paterson, de la empresa Seattle Computer, basado en el CP/M de Gary Kildall. Patterson compró un manual de CP/M y programó su sistema operativo tomándo éste como base, en mes y medio. La empresa lo comercializó luego bajo el nombre de 86-DOS.
